This has to be our all time favourite restaurant in Chester. New to the city in 2021 it's been a hit ever since it opened it's doors, this means there's always a great atmosphere inside, but it's the food that is the real star of the show. Its menu caters for everyone from fussy to discerning foodie.
The best bit? It's the first restaurant you'll come across on your walk from Steele Street, so you don't even have to stretch the legs too much.

If you love steak as much as we do, then a trip to Upstairs at the Grill is a MUST! Chester locals and visitors alike have had the mouth watering pleasure of sampling their food since 2002, we lost them for a bit through COVID but they're back with a brand new refurbished restaurant and reimagined menu.
They do get booked up (always a sign of somewhere great, ey?) so if you can't get in while you stay with us, get yourself over to their sister restaurant next door - Bar Lounge. The food is just as sensational but a bit more relaxed, with bites boards and a bustling bar, they know how to run a great venue these guys.
