A DAY OUT IN CHESTER.

RACEDAY.

Established in 1539, Chester Racecourse is the oldest racecourse in the world that is still running. Unlike a lot of race courses, Chester racecourse is right in the city centre, meaning there's no busses, taxis or trains to negotiate, just walk to the races from the city centre in about 5 minutes, and once you're done at the races you can walk (stumble) back up in to town to continue your day in the many venues that put on special race day features. It's the perfect day out for families, groups, couples & race fanatics.
